I am a small company. When I receive an inquiry from a customer, I immediately ask for a quote from the factory. The factory gave me feedback, and the factory also received an inquiry from another foreign trade company A. The factory gave us the same price. He said that he knew the stakes and would not increase the price indiscriminately just because he found his quotation.

After I communicated with the customer, I knew that my customer wanted to get the sample within 18 days, and then my customer confirmed it to his customer. I confirmed that the sample fee and courier fee were about 1000RMB, and I agreed with the customer to send the sample first, and then add the sample fee to the bulk product after the customer is qualified. OK, anxious for what the customer wants, email and phone calls have been communicated until late at night.

I paid the sample fee to the factory the next day, confirmed the delivery date, and made the order urgently. Later, I learned that peer A also paid the sample fee. The factory generally operates in this way. It is understandable to charge the proofing fee first, and then return the proofing fee after ensuring the real order and producing large quantities.

Later, I sent a sample to get feedback from the customer, which was confirmed. After a few days, I placed a bulk order and paid me separately for the sample fee. I feel that I am a gamble. The worst result is either being cheated of the sample fee or losing the customer. I can afford it, and I don't have to worry too much.

During the inspection, I had tea with the factory owner and knew that the competitor did not get the order, and that the same colleague also knew that the factory produced the goods. The factory did not return the sample fee to that colleague. Because the circle is very small, that colleague also knows that I got the order. My colleagues are rather shameless to me for this kind of practice, and feel that I have broken the rules of the industry. . .

Oh, I forgot to mention, that peer A is a salesperson of a large foreign trade company, and has cooperated with the factory for a long time. They usually require the customer to pay the proofing fee in advance before taking the next step. In terms of process, approval step by step, business-manager-general manager, etc.

Because I know that when this big company just started, it was the same. It is said that they still have a few old customers, and the payment method can be put in OA for 30 days.
